Below is some recent requests from customers in respect of work required.

1) The HD in my first gen Macbook Air has failed. How much would it cost to get the HD replaced? I have my data backed up so data recovery is unnecessary. I also have an iPhone 3GS with a broken LCD. Do you do iPhone repairs? The glass and digitiser are fine, just the LCD is broken. Could you estimate the cost of repair for the iPhone please.

2) hi, yesterday when i was simply wiping the fingerprints off the screen on my macbook when switched off, i must have put enough pressure to crack the screen in the bottom right corner. i didnt realise until i had turned it back on and saw that the liquid had leaked across part of the screen. Everything is still visible on the screen, however it seems to be getting worse and is such an inconvenience as i use my mac on a daily basis. i was wondering if you could give me a quote for a screen replacement for my 13.3″ macbook. also how long does it usually take for you to do the replacement. thank you.

3)  My MacBook Pro stopped working. I put it to sleep one day, and it never woke up!
I am a physicist, and know about electronics. I do my own upgrades for hard drives, optical drives, and memory.
I have determined that the problem is with the logic board, since there is nothing wrong with the memory or the hard drive.Do you think you might be able to diagnose & repair the logic board? Since I have removed the hard drive, to access my data, can I give you the computer WITHOUT the hard drive?

4) I have a white macbook 2.4ghz with 160gb hdd. however the hard drive is nearly full and i was wondering if you are able to replace the existing hard drive with a bigger one? also i wouldn’t want to lose any data on the existing hard drive so would you be able to clone the old hard drive on to the new bigger hard drive?  another upgrade i have been looking into is doubling the exist 2gb ram up to 4gb, what prices would i be looking at for the hdd upgrade and ram upgrade

5) I own a MacBook Pro 15.4″ / 2.4GHz / Model no: MA896LL/A. It’s a late 2007 / early 2008 model.
Unfortunately, I have a problem with the keyboard and trackpad — they are both not working. I suspect it’s something to do with the connections where the battery is situated. I have tried operating the laptop with an external keyboard (USB) and mouse (USB) and they both work OK. There is an additional problem with the MacBook Pro keyboard — the right arrow key does not work at all. This was a problem that occurred prior to the keyboard / trackpad completely not working. The right arrow does work, when an external keyboard (USB) is connected. Perhaps a new keyboard is required for the laptop? Is this something you can take a look at and possibly give a quote for?
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
